Anxiety attacks can be caused for many reasons. Some reasons might be job-related or more private. For instance: a crucial presentation, a dreadful superior, outstanding bills, a troublesome kid or an ill parent Sometimes, fear can even come from the unknown. Not knowing what direction to take after university, for example, can cause anxiety. Childhood traumas, horrific experiences or any psychological shock can be a cause of anxiety. Almost anything can be a trigger of anxiety, but they can be grouped under two categories: the things we value and the things we are uncertain of. However, such as all illnesses, grave anxiety that results in anxiety attacks can be prevented or cured. The contrary can in addition happen. To keep away from anxiety attacks you could minimize your anxiety. One way of doing this is to stay away from bringing yourself in stressful situations. For instance: your manager asks you to make a critical presentation. Instead of doing investigations and doing your job well by preparing the required stuff for your presentation, you are paralysed. You consider thoughts of you failing; you call up images in your head of the worst possible consequence. After your work you go home and instead of decompressing, you see yourself making a fool out of yourself. If you impress yourself with these depressing thoughts you may trigger anxiety attacks. It is therefore, important to keep your thoughts optimistic and positive. Another source of anxiety attacks is the lack of sleep. Human beings need rest to function properly. Staying up all night will do nothing for your anxiety or for whatever it is you are worrying about – it will simply make it worse. Your body needs sleep to recover and cope with stress. Sitting up all night will in lots of cases not resolve what you worry about. To contrary, it will only make it worse. You require adequate rest to cope with pressure and recuperate. Lack of sleep can affect you emotionally and even physically. This is a reality. For example, losing sleep causes an increase of your blood pressure and can even cause you to hallucinate. On this note, stay away from coffee. Caffeine beverages will keep you up and augment your nervousness. Some other cause of anxiety attacks is lack of oxygen. When somebody is having a panic attack, he or she inclines to keep her breath, thus launching his or her body into a state of distress or shock: the lungs contract, the hands grow cold, and so on. When you feel like, you are about to have a panic attack, step outside for a little while. Take a break and walk in the fresh air. If your panic attacks get frequent, it would be best to consult your physician. Share with anybody what you are going through. It is key not to keep it to you and to get specialized help if needed to. One of the worst anxiety attacks reasons is disregarding the stress. You are not by yourself, every person has anxieties to battle with in life.
