Attract Money Like Magic?

The first time you heard about the Law of Attraction, you may have likened it to a magical "genie" that grants wishes. Simply think of something you want - like a large sum of money; see it clearly in your mind and it drops effortlessly into your lap. After you've worked with manifestation techniques for a little while, you realize that it usually doesn't work like that.

Money can certainly come to you effortlessly in many ways, but only if you are in alignment with it. And most people are not in alignment with it when they first start out, so they make little progress until they understand exactly what to do to get their thoughts, feelings and beliefs in alignment with the level of abundance they want to receive.

For most people, it's more likely that they will start smaller attracting modest amounts of money here and there, and eventually work their way up to the bigger amounts. This can be a rewarding process, but if you expected the process to be faster you could end up feeling extremely frustrated - and even thinking that the Law of Attraction doesn't work.

The following steps offer a simple plan for gradually attracting more money:

Stay committed to the process, no matter how long it takes.

Many people who attempt to manifest money try to take on way too much, too soon. Instead, make it your mission to work steadily at it day by day, even if it takes many months to see results. For most people it won't take that long, but you will avoid feeling pressured and frustrated in case things don't move along as quickly as you'd like.

Start with a modest step forward.

Don't make the mistake that so many people do - trying to manifest gazillions of dollars so they'll be set for life. It's not that you can't attract big sums of money, but it would probably take a fair amount of time to get aligned with a sum that big, and you may get frustrated and think it's not working before that happens. Instead, choose a smaller amount of money that you could see yourself receiving in the very near future. That might be $50, $100, $500, etc. Make it an amount you don't have trouble believing you could receive unexpectedly.

Give your "money seeds" time to grow.

Once you have decided on a specific amount of money, focus clearly on it several times a day, for a few minutes at a time. However, don't focus on trying to draw it into your life, instead pretend that you already have it. FEEL it here, right now, in your life. You can imagine that you are holding it in your hand, or pretend you have deposited into your savings account. The more you do this, the more energy you are going to build in relation to this money. And that energy could easily be considered a "SEED" that you have planted and will now begin to germinate.

Give the universe time to get the ball rolling.

One of the biggest mistakes people make in the manifestation process is assuming that it's not working because they can't "see" any progress happening externally. However, long before external progress shows, energetic progress is being made. With your new money manifestation, be sure to give the universe time to work on it. Simply visualize and pretend for a few days, or even a week or two - avoid the temptation to start taking action right away. Wait and see what the universe sends your way. It may be an amazing opportunity that gets the ball rolling right away, or nothing much may happen right away. Stay detached yet optimistic that the money is on its way, even if you can't yet see how.

Stay alert to your inner guidance

Once a few days to a week have passed, start checking in with your inner guidance daily. Find a quiet place to be alone, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and then ask your inner self, "Are there any actions I can take to allow this money into my life?" Sit quietly and wait for an answer. You may receive an insight, a hunch, or just a feeling about something. If you don't receive any insights right away, don't worry. Either there isn't anything for you to do with this goal right now, or the insights will come along later - usually when you aren't expecting them.

Manifesting money this way may seem less exciting than having a magic wand would be, but you will save yourself a lot of heartache and frustration by taking a more gradual approach like this one. In fact, once you realize just how easy this is to do on a regular basis you will quickly recognize the power and potential for using the same process to transform every other aspect of your life too.
