Why don't we look at abundance? Dictionary.com defines it as "a great or plentiful amount". I feel that's a nice beginning point. I think you should begin to ask yourself, "What is it that I want plentifulness in?". Most folks relate this idea of being fulfilled to financial matters. While this is an important area, all areas of your life can provide you with a feeling of having "a great or plentiful amount". Which leads me to a thought. To me, looking for prosperity in my life is a search for a feeling. Isn't there a sensation you get when you feel bountiful? When you make a new understanding in your spiritual life, you feel prosperous inside. You experience fulfillment. You feel inner peace. When you maintain your financial matters the right way and everything is taken care of, you feel that inner peace. Is that not how you experience these occurrences? It is for me. This is true when I take care of my health and I exercise. Or when I take time to turn off the TV and read in order to understand something new. I'm bettering my mind and I feel that abundance. I feel the peace and stillness inside myself. So, to me, although the definition of abundance seems to speak of acquiring or having something, it's not those material things that I want, it's that "feeling". Does this resonate with you? Are you tired of feeling a bit empty, a bit out of touch with yourself and what makes you, you? If so, I suggest it's time you put the brakes on a bit and begin to go more within yourself to dig up the answers. It wasn't until I began to do this that I saw what was really significant to me. When you search for life abundance and that feeling of inner stillness, it helps you to cancel out all the stuff the TV, magazines, movie stars or your family & friends have influenced you with since you started this journey called "life". You realize how to filter all this information out and get to the bottom of what makes you content. You start to see who your true soul is and what you need. Does this mean that you'll solve all your "issues" overnight? Of course not! But you begin to have more moments of inner peace. More moments where you say to yourself, "You know, my life is abundant in so many ways." And as time goes on, these moments last longer and occur more often. You know, I think that's what we're here to do. You and I are here to find out how to figure ourselves out until we live a complete life of inner peace. A life where we know deep within ourselves that we just "fit" whatever life situations we've constructed for ourselves. If the key to you living a life of abundance is comprehending yourself more, are you prepared to do some digging? Are you poised to meet the concerns within that restrain you from spiritual, emotional, physical, or financial abundance? I believe it takes some time, a little work (on yourself) to achieve the abundant, "whole" life you're seeking. We live in a "fix me now" or "give it all to me now" society. But you're unequaled. What may be easy for you is hard for others and vice versa. Of course, it's accurate to say that some challenges can be fixed immediately by just resolving to change. But I recommend you have patience with yourself. Allow yourself the time to let change come to you naturally. Many of your challenges can be tracked back to the "friction" between the conscious and subconscious aspects of yourself. You need to teach your conscious mind to mellow out so you can get in touch with the deeper "you". This deeper "self" will educate you on your life purpose and authorize prosperity to flow into your life in every important area. Invest the time to investigate within, recognize your purpose in life, and detect how much your thoughts either stop you from experiencing a life of abundance or help you find true inner peace.
