Getting Your Ex Back Without An Apology

It is often a mistake lots of people make. When trying to get their ex back, they say I'm sorry a thousand times. This doesn't work and can drive your ex further away.

Instead of apologizing repeatedly, there are better things to do to get your ex back. First, don't apologize if you did nothing wrong. If you ex left because they drifted apart from you, apologizing would make you sound pathetic.

Now, if you did do something wrong that you need to apologize for, don't apologize yet. But to get your ex back you need to know what you did wrong, and be ready to apologize.

Before you ever get around to apologizing, do a few powerful things first. To begin with, let's say you committed adultery. You cheated on your ex. They kicked you out and are feeling a lot of betrayal and anger.

Before you say you're sorry a million times, do these smart steps first! Own up to what you did. Admit it. Your ex needs to know at a basic emotional level that you know what you did was wrong. So admit it. Don't justify or try to explain your actions.

Then, help your ex to resolve their feelings of mistrust and betrayal. The way to do this is get them to vent. To get their feelings off their chest. So ask them how they feel about what happened, and then shut up and listen. Be a good listener. This helps them to release and begin to resolve their bad feelings.

So fess up to what you did and then get them to release and vent their negative feelings. If you do those things first, your apology will come across a lot better and have a much better chance of being accepted.

So don't make a hundred apologies. Make one, after you do those two things first. If you do this right, you can often get your ex back in hours instead of weeks or months.
