Why Don't Men Call After the First Date?

You dated the perfect guy. Kind, nice, mature...you waited so much to find him, the ideal man. After the date, he promised he would call you. And days go by, day after day...one week...no calls. A man, who is interested in a woman, calls her in about 24-72 hours, after their date. Men like to have a woman in their life, it's true, but they are not in a hurry to fill the void with anybody, so they try to find the perfect partner for them. Let's see the reasons they don't call:

1. They are afraid of being turned down

They postpone the moment because they panic when thinking of being rejected. They think that the woman can say she is too busy to talk or she will not answer. These are signs of rejection and guys hate them.

2. He does not think you are compatible

Maybe the woman misinterpreted the signs when she considered everything went well. In fact, the man thought they have nothing in common and was only polite.

3. It was only a challenge

Sometimes a man only wants to see if he is able to have a date, with a certain woman, and considers this a challenge. He is not interested in a relationship and he only tested his "skills".

4. He's a little "absent-minded"

Why don't you try calling him for a change? You may have the pleasant surprise to discover that he wanted to call you but he lost the piece of paper where he had written your phone number.
